The Kulturplan Lausitz project fund is a multi-year funding program for cultural projects in Brandenburg's Lusatia region that make the cultural heritage and current cultural life in the region tangible. The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) is providing around one million euros for this in 2025 alone.
The project fund is being implemented by actori in partnership and close coordination with the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg (MWFK) and the Lusatia Culture Coordination Office (LKK) in Cottbus.
The project fund ties in with the 2021 Kulturplan Lausitz, which actori also supported in its creation.
Further information on the project fund and the funded projects can be found here: https://www.lausitz-kultur.eu/de/foerderung/brandenburg/projektfonds-kulturplan-lausitz-brandenburg
actori accompanies the program from the competition announcement to the final project implementation:
- Accompanying the competition phase: actori was involved in the development of the call for proposals, supported the public relations work of the project fund and was responsible for the formal examination of the applications as well as the coordination of the subsequent expert jury meeting.
- Contracting and onboarding: actori supported the project sponsors at the start of the project and provided information on relevant guidelines and financial framework conditions.
- Advice and support: Throughout the entire duration of the program, actori supported the applicants and project sponsors with expert advice - from the competition phase to the final implementation of the individual projects.
- Call for funds and administration: actori receives the calls for funds and checks them to ensure that the funded projects run smoothly.
We are delighted to be able to support the Kulturplan Lausitz project fund with our many years of experience in project management, our knowledge of the diverse cultural landscape of Lausitz and our expertise in the field of cultural funding.
