Prof. Maurice Lausberg
Founder and Managing Partner
Prof. Maurice Lausberg holds a degree in physics and studied at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and at the École Normale et Supérieure in Paris. After working for Roland Berger Strategy Consultans for several years, he was production manager at the Bavarian State Opera, where he built up the development/sponsoring department.
In 2005, Prof. Lausberg founded actori GmbH as managing partner, a company that is the market leader in German-speaking countries for strategy consulting in the fields of culture, entertainment and education. He is also a co-founder of a number of spin-offs in the fields of technology, virtual reality and machine learning.
Since October 2009, Maurice Lausberg has also been a professor of cultural management at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich. In 2020 he initiated the Wavelab there - a start-up centre for technology-based start-ups from the cultural and creative industries.
